Make the rounds different

Mix an accessible opener with music, pictures, and a theme. A weekly quiz stays interesting when different teams get their moment.

Keep the room with you

Read questions at your pace, give teams time to talk, and use the audience display so nobody has to ask what the question was.

Breaks belong in the plan

Pause between rounds for grading, a conversation, or a trip to the bar. Resume when the room is ready for the next question.

A practical rhythm for your quiz night.

Begin with a round most teams can enjoy, then vary the subject and question style. Explain the scoring and answer-submission format before the first question so teams know what to expect.

Set up the host laptop where you can see the room. Put the audience window on a readable screen, check any media you plan to use, and display the joining PIN while teams settle in.

Choose captain answers, team voting, or paper-photo submission to match the event. Leave time to review answers and resolve ties. A deliberate score reveal at the end of each round gives the room a reason to stay involved.

  1. Prepare varied rounds and announce the format.
  2. Check the display and welcome teams with the PIN.
  3. Host the questions, review answers, and reveal the scores.
